Christmas of No Pictures

I wanted to post some pictures of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Then I realized what our Christmas holiday events were. Christmas Eve Connor and Zach went sledding in the morning and then around noon Connor started throwing up. We were suppose to have dinner that night with family, but we didn't end up going to that. Zach took care of Connor and I took care of Ethan so that hopefully he wouldn't get sick. For dinner that night we ended up having McDonald's. I had been craving it for a while.
Christmas Morning was Connor opening a few gifts and then eating a little dry cereal. He would then open a few more gifts and then eat a little more cereal. We just kept it low key that day. The day after Christmas Connor got sick again in the morning. Then on the next Monday Zach got sick. Out Christmas break wasn't really what we thought it was going to be, but luckily I don't think that Connor really knew what was suppose to happen and what he was missing. So, because that is how our holiday was, we really didn't take any pictures. But I am sure that we will remember it.

More Christmas

Jason came out for Christmas this year. I think that he said that it was the first time in 8 years that he has been here for Christmas. He came and spent some time with us. Connor and him colored on Connor's new easel.
Connor had such a fun time with Uncle Jason. He keeps asking me when he is going to come and see us again. For some reason he thinks that Jason is in Africa with Grandma and Grandpa.
Grandma Downs always has a big Christmas party. I don't think that Connor really understood what you do with a Pinta, but he had a fun time swinging the bat. He also got to sit on Santa's lap, but I can't seem to find that picture.
Granmuzzy came to visit also. Connor loved to wear her hat and scarf.

It is always fun when Granmuzzy comes.

Some Christmas

For Christmas this year, Zach's mom planned for all of us to go eat at the Lion House and then go see the lights on Temple Square. It was fun to be together with everyone. Nate and Lindsay were able fly out from New York and come with us. It was great to see them.
It wouldn't let me rotate these pictures, but I really liked them. This was in the Joseph Smith Memorial building. They had a really pretty tree in the lobby.

This is all of the grandkids that were there.
Nate and Lindsay were able to come over to our house for dinner. It was great to talk with them and watch them play with the boys. It is always fun to get together with family.

Locks of Love....Again

It has been 2 years since I did Locks of Love last. My hair had grown out again so I decided to do it again.
This is how long it was before it was cut. It was nice to have it this long so that I could just pull it back in a ponytail. But it was tie for a change.
This is the back of it. I think that this might be the shortest that I have ever gone. It has taken some getting use to, but I really like it.
I think that I will try and do Locks of Love every two years. I hope that it starts growing fast.

Daily Fun

Ethan and Connor love to hang out together. Sometimes I will come up on Connor having crawled up to Ethan so that he is as close as possible.

We call this "The Zone" Ethan loves to be in it.
Connor likes to play with The Zone also. Sometimes he will get a little too close and Ethan will grab his hair. Ethan has a pretty good grip too. One time Connor kept swiping Ethan's hand away from part of the toy. Ethan reached out and grabbed Connor's hair and wouldn't let go. Connor finally got his hair out of Ethan's hand. He came over to me crying. After he was consoled, he went right back to trying to play with some of Ethan's toys, but kept his head just out of Ethan's reach.
Connor is a great helper in the kitchen. He will stir anything and loved to help with anything. If he keeps it up he is going to make a great cook.
Ethan just playing around. He is watching us make cookies.

Halloween

I realized that we really don't take very many pictures. But here are the ones that we have.
Ethan was Robin, but I think that he just liked to eat his cape. The outfit was courteous of Angie.
I think that this shirt is also courtesy of Angie also. I think that one of the twins use to wear it.
I found a matching one for Ethan. This is what they were wearing earlier on Halloween. We had a great Halloween, but I realized that this was all the pictures that we really have. Connor was excited about all of the candy. He didn't really eat much of it though.
